The United Kingdom's currency is Pounds Sterling.  Credit cards are generally accepted in restaurants and shops.

Climate and Weather
In July, the average temperature in Glasgow is around 15oC to 19oC.  It is likely to be quite pleasant, but the city is known for its rain, so bring a light jacket and an umbrella.  

The organisers do not accept any responsibility for individual medical, travel or personal insurance. Participants are strongly advised to have their own travel insurance policies.

Passport & Visas
For citizens of the EC member countries, a passport is valid for entry into the UK.  Each delegate is responsible for obtaining their own entry visas, if required.  Please contact the proper authority (Consulate or Embassy) for information.
